what's with the timer

  just played a challenge match on kiowah.......i joined another players game and the timer was a 30 second timer.........on 9 occasions the opponents timer went to 00.......sometimes after the 00 reading it would be 2-3 seconds and the player would take a shot with no penalty.......several times 6-8 seconds would go by after the 00 reading on the timer and they still took the shot with no penalty

  only one time did the "warning" come on.......all the rest of the times, like i said player was still able to take the shots with no penalty.

  anyone have any ideas on this.

  hi,

  it's the sync. it shows 0 at your end and probably same on his end but he hit the show 2-3 seconds prior. so, depending on your system, connection + other variables it can take up 10 seconds to sync in.

  when we play on skype, many times my friends say they hear my ball fall in the cup through speakers, before it happens on their screen.
