Week # 31 -- Kiawah Island Score: 72 (E)
Well... I'm embarrassed. Rounds featuring a three lost ball 10 don't usually end up putting you in the money. I don't even know what to say. I felt like Roy McAvoy by the time I finally put a ball in the short grass on Hole 2! I could just hear my caddy imploring me to "chip it over onto the fairway and then hit it up on that green, stupid!" Unlike Tin Cup's 12, I didn't think my 10 was a "thing of beauty." I managed to haul my bent and broken body onward and still could have shot a decent round if not for the four makeable lip-outs I clanked off cups at 1, 6, 9, and 15. In the end, I saved par (72) and crawled into the pub to nurse my wounds.
Just like the last few weeks, I seem to be saving my Tour rounds for exploration of previously uncharted territory. Good luck everyone! Now, on to the Pro Shop to buy some replacement balls!!
