Poor driving, poor putting and a double bogey resulted in a deserved -7 83.

I suppose a -14 76 isn't too bad here.  Too many long rollouts and a drowned ball at Congressional kept me from decent Eagle chances.  Saved par on all the bad shots though.

Absolutely Pathetic for a par 5.  If I can ever learn to putt.  Or if it finally decides to come back to me.  Along with the ability to hit the ding line on putts.

Not 1 eagle, had many putts for them tho, and too many pars, due to missed putts.

75 no eagles on Bo5, just ok without flame.

I started the week with 350 consecutive days played & jumping up to L97 & upgrading my irons & driver, The early signs are good. My best ever score around the BOP5 carding a 13 under 77 (I think I played it once before & that was a total shite show).

I missed the first fairway by a matter of inches (You know it's close when it says you're in the rough but picture clearly shows you're on the fairway by a foot or so which makes you wonder if it's out that much is it also out on approaches & putts hmmmmm) & managed to hit the remaining 17 of them as well as 100% on GIr (certainly makes a big difference to scoring). I still managed to birdie the first as well as 5 of his mates around the F9 with a further 7 around the back. I should've dropped another 2 putts & only recall dropping one good putt so scores about what it should've or maybe a shot better but i'm happy with it.

I believe that brings an end to the SS Tour events (not sure if I qualified for the Tour Championships or not) so a massive Thanks to Brett (the other one , not me) for putting this fun event together & keeping track of us all. I've thoroughly enjoyed playing on & look forward to doing again if it runs again down the track. All the best to you all & congrats to the final podium finishers (hopefully I can hang on for 3rd or even higher)

    Cheers

    Brett

67 on Bo5. Tried the L87 balls for this, which I don't usually use. Struggled on the f9 but chipped in on the 8th for a badly needed 2nd eagle. 3 nice ding approaches to start the b9 gave 2 easy eagles but a missed 8fter on the 12th spoiled the 3 in a row. Then my nemesis hole, 15 in a headwind, bit once again to spoil the neat card. 3wd eagle on 16, and a pitch in on 17 in a headwind couldn't save the score thanks to the headwind on 18.

You are good to go next week, along with everyone else who is playing this week.

There is a leaderboard and handicaps are ready for the SS Tour Championship on the first page. The Tour Championship starts Monday!

I will update the scores for those who have an advantage or disadvantage (points race leaders and any falling short of 6 tournaments played) first thing Monday morning.
