    Week 47 / Merion / 70 (E)

    what better way to ruin my chance of an overall top 5 finish than shooting my usual poor score at Merion

    61 for me at Merion this week

    Made a couple of tough putts.....missed a couple of easy ones (ugh)

    59 for me at Merion this week. 

    Missed short touch putts for birdie on 5, 13, and 15 and lipped out a 31-footer on 18 (swore that was in), but also made some tricky putts along the way.  I also beat some guy named Young-something by a stroke this week, and somebody told me he's in the Hall of Fame, so I guess that's a plus.

    A no bogey 62 this week at Merion is one of my best scores at this course. Birdied 5-8 to highlight a 30 front 9.
