3-hole Elimination Tournament

  Well next up for me was Mantis0014. We played on Congressional (my choosing) and we both ended up at -1 at the end of three holes. So on to sudden death. And on the first hole of sudden death I was able to birdie the hole and he parred it. So I move on. A big thank you goes out to Mantis0014 as he gave me a very competitive match(s). Good luck to you sir in the future. On to the next round!

  I have the same problem Hans...this Frogmatioguy have eccepted my friend request, but he do not answer back on my PM ore on my wall post....and he has a recent score history too.....Not sure what to do, but if this guy dont respond to my today, you might as well remove me from the tourney, got better things to do then chase a frog!!!!!!

  Keep cool oys, post at his wall, then you did all three things: mentioned here, pmed and wrote on his wall and if he doesnt answer you win. Same to you bob!

  Done that twice, and PM`d him, thats why i want a answer today......Oh btw, i am cool as ice  lol   it just pisses me a little off that people sign up for something and then it looks like they dont give a *** when the tourney starts....when others could have gotten their place...!!!

  I for one would prefer to play and lose than go through on a bye.Are there any reserves in place Hans?

  Yeah MRDYD it seems like there are always 15% that rush to sign up for any tournament and within 5 minutes lose interest in it.  Last year in the alt shot tourney, they two guys we played scheduled a match on 3 times and never showed up.  Finally showed up and played with pretty much no excuse.

  While I would rather play to win I have no tolerance for people who won't respond, schedule and don't show up, are late etc.  I say if they aren't responding, report it to the tournament owner and let him send a pm or wall post to them saying they will be forfeited if they don't respond within a specific time frame.  That eliminates the he said she said excuse of not playing.

  It is always the same, a few bad apples can ruin the whole group.

  I was in/on the same bracket as robdelahunty (lost to Dagazza) and would happily accept another chance to get beat go through.

  I'm clutching at straws but might be a way to fulfil the matches, to have losers of that bracket given another chance.

  Or might be fairer to give people who have lost later in tournament another chance first.

  I think that Hans had some reserves on a waiting list but that was mainly in case someone dropped out or told him they couldn't play.

  Frankly I can see replacing someone in round one with a wait list player but not a player who has already played and lost (unless there aren't enough wait list players).  If a player doesn't play his match after the first round, I would think no other option is there except a default.  Definitely need to blacklist all of those who sign up and never play.
