Match was mostly AS or 1 up until the back 9 when I got up by 2 a couple of times. Ian made several excellent shots, especially on the back par 3s, to keep it close. My 9' birdie putt on 16 making me 2 up, pretty much sealed the deal.

Good play Ian and best of luck to you in the remainder of the tournament.

Dan won a great fought game, was back and forth, except when I hit those darn branches.

Not once but tree times on 3 different holes. Gave way too many ups to Dan that way.

Still well fought, well deserved win, Good luck with the rest of world cup

MIKEE672 WINS 5 UP AGAINST SIMOVOICE.

Great match verses a great player. I was 7 up after front 9, then at the turn Simo turned it on a bit and cut the lead to 5 down. I birdied #14 to finish the match.

We just finished our match. It was very tight through the first 9 holes, with Ross winning the first hole and getting the early lead. I managed to claw back and win a couple holes, until he holed out an amazing eagle shot at the 6th hole, to square the game right back up. But unfortunately for my opponent, he wasn't getting much luck on the greens and I ended up pulling away on the back for the win. It was an absolute pleasure to meet a nice guy like Ross. Best of luck going forward.

Very well played KP! Losing the first two holes did not help my chances any ;-) But I'll always have the memory of halving #10 after hitting the tee shot OB and then holing out for par from the 40/50 rough. hehehe.
