  Had a fun match today with Seb. I got off to a great start , -9 thru 7, to take a 3 up lead into 8, losing only 1 hole, which was a brilliant eagle on 4 by Seb. We halved 8 and 11 with pars and 9 and 10 with birdies before I won 12 and 13 with birdies to send the match dormie, as I was 5 up with 5 to play. However, I have a history of turning blowouts into nailbiters, and this trend nearly continued on 14, where Seb took advantage of the tailwind for an up and down birdie, while I made a mess of the hole. Ultimately 15 was halved with birdies for a final score of 4&3.

  Hpurey wins again MarshallMatlock 1 up

   

  One helluva match.  Marshall had me 2 dn through the front.  Halved the 10th and my putter got hot and birdied out.  Marshall had a few bad luck moments that let me sneak back in it and took a 1 up lead on the 17th.  18 was exciting.  I went long on the approach and he had the heartbeat.  I lipped my 23 footer for eagle and his just slipped by the hole.  Thought for sure we were going to walk away with a tie here. 

  Great round Marshall.  That round proves that tier can be just a title.  Very well played!

  Group 2, samppa454 beats ri99 4&2. the match was played on Friday and I posted a message, but for some reason the message never got through.

  My putter was on fire, and I had a 4 up lead after 6 holes, held it together on the back9 too with a few important putts made. Thanks Richard for the match, it was fun.
