  It is very easy to script some ambient sounds. There are no more bird sounds, waves nor wind. Is it that hard to register some ambient sounds to the game?

  You'll be glad to know they're still there, must be either an in game sound setting or PC setting on your end

  When I first read this I agreed with the OP. Then I read Ken's response and had doubts. So I double checked during tonight's rounds and indeed it's The Silent Spring of WGT on the new desktop version. Maybe on mobile? 

  Sliders for music, sound effects and commentary. The sound effects do not have ambient sounds, birds, planes, bells, wind, horns etc. It does seem strangely quiet. I hope nature (and horns, planes) return.

  Having fun, hitting ;em straight in the silence.

  Ya know i double checked & ye are correct, no ambient sounds, I'm either going mad or maybe it was accidentally removed in a past Update!! ??

  ....and I'm not getting ANY wgt sounds. No club sound. no ambient, no music (which is fine with me) and no commentary ( also fine ). Any ideas?
