  Dang!  I thought it was going to be a really good one until the wind changed after 6.  It seemed from that point on, everything was a head wind except for 18.  I did miss a couple of make-able birdie putts but it wasn't to be. 

  I was pretty happy with par on 14, I hit the tree off the tee then hit a punch 3w into the left rough.  On in 4 and a 1 putt.

  another bogey free round though - 62

  

  

  the only real bad thing about it, I wasn't able to pick up any pebbles off the beach.

  What an interesting scorecard. You played 11 straight holes at 1 under, and played the other 7 holes at 9 under. Sadly, I have had a few of those type scorecards myself. lol

  My second round went much better than my first. Even managed an eagle on 18 into a head wind.

  Some of the nastiest side winds I've ever played and a lousy score.  74.  I'll play the 2nd round later, I'm not masochistic enough to do that again right away.

  Like Many others, possibly one of the most difficult rounds I have ever played, winds for all the wrong directions to make the hole most difficult.

  carded a 69 which included 3 bogeys :(

  I hope my partner fairs better.

  That’s my two rounds in:

  Rd1 - 69 (with no driver and old irons)

  Rd2 - 66 (1st round with new driver and irons) disappointing double bogey on back 9 par 5 due to sand trouble but hopefully new equipment should help me get me promotion soon.

  Also got an eagle 3 at the 2nd, this was far better than my 9 when I played it in real life on my 40th, although apart from a solid opening par at the 1st that day and a near birdie at the picturesque 7th I had a bit of a shocker (the driver shank into the right trees off the tee on the 6th being a particular embarrassment) - feel free to note where they are next time youre online and have a giggle at my expense.
