Thanks to all who replied to my first post concerning "expensive balls".
I have completed another test and this one is much more accurate than the first one. I don't know how many hits a ball should take before being replaced and couldn't seem to find that info.
For this second test I used 'World Golf Tour Tour-SD Vapor Balls' that had 1 1/2 filled in dots of durability compared to the Callaway Tour i(s) Balls with 2 1/2 filled in dots of durability.
After going through my activity and score records I came up with;
4- 9 hole Blitz rounds...36 hits
2-18 hole rounds..72 & 75 hits
1-9 hole round..36 hits
For a total of 219 hits using 2 balls or approx. 108 hits per ball.
Does this sound about right per ball based on their durability? About 1 1/2 normal 18 hole games per ball.
Since I now know I can accurately, instead of guessing, use these records to determine my number of hits per ball, I'll go back and refigure the Callaway balls..
Seems this is a lot of ado for nothing but these balls are to expensive to buy a 3-pack per day.
