So i have about 1,100 in credits and am wanting to get as much benefit from purchases as is possible.  I struggle with accurate putting and could use more distance all round.  Any suggestions on what clubs I should purchase?

    AussiePhil:

This Driver when you reach Pro level. (250 Credits)

These Irons when you reach Pro level. (475 Credits)

These wedges: Satin 54 and Satin 60 (110 Credits a peice) *wedges will help your game more than anything at this point*

    ---

If you insist on a putter, this one is a decent start for the price. (400 Credits) *I will add here that I don't recommend a new putter at this point, I recommend practicing and learning to read breaks and calculate distance, as all putters are capable of making any putt if you master the putter you have.*

    Best of luck to you,

    Brooks

Edit to say: I see you are using the tour starter putter, I recommend using the beginner that I believe you probably have, as you are lucky to have been here when WGT still offered it.  It should be in your bag, so you can change your equipment to that.  I find it is a better putter with a a much slower meter which will add to accuracy.

Buy nothing yet. Level up more. Wait until L48 before you purchase clubs & driver. Good wedges also at L39 & L42. Keep practicing for another week or so ! Know it is easier said than done

Do a few of the 450 credit Ampario surveys to get some additional credits.  You can buy a great intial set (2010 ping raptures full set at lvl 33 for 2695 credits).  You will need to buy wedges, but this was a great set for me.

i think what you really need to do is practice... you've played only 19 ranked rounds in 18 months. (a lot of people play that much in a week, easy.) clubs help, but you gotta play to improve. not trying to be snippy, just saying... your clubs are already pretty good, for your level.

Bear in mind that when you reach the Master tier, you'll need to change clubs again. That's fine if you've lots of cash, but if not it pays to stick with the starter clubs until then.
