Update not working - the circle keeps going around but nothing is happening. I therefore deleted WGT from my computer and endeavoured to reinstall it. Got a message "Your operating system is outdated. WGT does not officially support it. but you can click OK to download"

    I am using Windows 10.....outdated???????

I downloaded the file, started the game and for the "Update Now" screen. I am going around in ever decreasing circles but do not want to end up like the Oooslum bird.

How can I get out of this mess?

    Gufy

For Windows try a reset or reinstall.

If you are not playing through steam and have uninstalled the launcher, you have probably only uninstalled the launcher, not the game.

    Thanks Scott!

When I did a reinstall, it offered me the chance to uninstall, so on the second effort, I did. After the uninstall/reinstall the result was the same. I'm going to be loading it onto a new laptop later this afternoon so it will probably work fine after that. If I wasn't going to do that, I'd probably do another uninstall/reinstall and go through the process of removing ALL references from the registry and any connected files on my system, but that would be a lot of work to do if it's not necessary (I hope it's not).

I see people talking about steam often. I looked into it once, but I walked away from my investigation completely baffled about why and how I would want to do that. Is there any documentation out there that makes sense to someone who is not an avid gamer?

    Keep swingin!
