Really hard for me to putt when the power meter is blank - no green sweet zone - like when I am in "Turf Wars- A Call To Arms". The greens are typically championship and I'm tired of missing 5 -10 foot putts. Even the long putts sail farther than the green  :(

Have you tried searching the Forums for "Putting Chart" ?

There is a SEARCH box over there to the right.  Lots of great information can be found by using it.

learn the math. the suggested power green bar is a piece of crap. the range is entirely too large and if you use that you are begging for 3 putts. or even 4 putts.

and if you use it on steep downhill putts on speedy greens  you're going to be short every time.

    learn the math

    Young46 Putt Calculator/-tion:

    7.9/GREEN SPEED X (times) DISTANCE +/- ELEVATION (INCHES) +2 = Adjusted distance

With those faster greens one needs to simply put in some significant practice time to get the feel for breaks and putter meter speeds. The calculation is quick and easy to perform since the first part of the formula remain static for the green speed you find yourself playing. With the “13” greens, you can experiment with replacing the #2 in the formula to #1. Trial and error.
