  Hi there :)

  Well .. I still suck at this game so I guess I need to spend a few credits on equipment.

  If I buy a 3-pack of balls for 99 cr - how many balls do I get? Do I have them forever or do I have to purchase new balls from time to time?

  Where do a golfplayer with little skills and no credits start to upgrade? Putter, Irons or drivers?

  I have seen a few iron-sets for about 500 credits. Can somebody recommend a nice set?

  Answered this question yourself... a 3 pack of balls include 3 balls.

  No. Balls, other than then Free Starter Ball, have a limited amount of life. This is the Durability rating of the ball. The higher the rating the longer the ball will last.

  Upgrading Wedges is a must.... and you will find the hybrid can be regarded as useless. Replacing the hybrid with a 3rd wedge carries a lot of advantages as well.

  - You will get approximately 100-120 "hits" on each ball depending on it's Durability rating (strokes taken ON the putting green do not count towards this ball count)
  - There will be a little meter next to the ball when you play to give you an indication of roughly where you are in that balls life.
  - If you go out of bounds or into water you lose that ball regardless of how many hits are on it.

  My opinion is to buy clubs before balls , every time . Clubs will have a resale value as you progress and want to upgrade , I would say irons first , so you become more accurate on your green approach , wedges for short work around greens , then driver or three wood . 
  Do surveys and watch videos for 150 free credits each day .

  And consider never buying balls as the new apparel perks make the free rock playable enough for the game to be enjoyable.  Now, if you're going to try to compete at a high level then you'll need the balls too.

  On clubs i was told to hold off until your a master. Better choice of clubs also around level 90-95.  So be4 anyone speaks against me i was told this info by quite a few players.Good luck.

  So very true... if you have the patience, you can score well with the Free Rock. While the following scores will not Win said tournaments, they will earn me a few credits...

  This morning I shot using the free Starter ball...

  A 30 at Wk 9 Kiawah B9 Unlimited and

  A 60 in the first round of the Wk 9 Champion Tournament at Olympic.

  EDIT: Just an update... shot a 29 in the Wk 9 Kiawah B9 unlimited with the Rock. ( Should have been a 28 as I missed a 11ft birdie putt on #18). Just using these as examples that it can be done.

  Wow - great answers guys - thank you so much. I think I will forget the balls for now and check out a nice set of irons.

  I have a stupid 3w hybrid thing - I think I will replace that with a real 3w :)

  I have started a few surveys but I always end up wanting to kill someone so I think I wil go with videos and rewards from other games :)

  You should wait to buy irons until you are either L59 for the Pings or L85 for the Mavriks. 

  definitely do the credit videos.

  definitely drop the hybrid. Wait for iron purchase until at least L59.  Driver at L55
