So I downloaded Twitch Studio (I already had regular twitch) I did this so I can attempt to stream upcoming alt-shot match but I have no clue ....I recorded a 6 min "Test" session I hit the icon below

It said it was recording ....I then hit "Stop recording" and I can't for the life of me even find where it went!!!

I also ran a "Live session"  icon says "Go Live" so I clicked it not sure if anyone would be able to see it or if that's recorded in my archives either

Another words how do you even post a video on your twitch account if it doesn't save what I was recording?

    Thanks in Advance...

    JD

You might have to Google for help JD. I guess most of us use OBS (Open Broadcaster Software).

    1, Top right, Settings

    2, Channels & Videos

    3, Settings/Stream

Looked at your pic,Twitch Studio is using a lot of your CPU & you've 9,746 Dropped Frames.

Ditch Twitch Studio & Download & Install Streamlabs OBS, it has a Setting called Performance Mode which use's very little resources as it will mainly use your GPU with the right settings.

Plenty of Tutorials on YouTube for Streamlabs OBS & what Settings to tweak.

Just out of curiosity Ken, is there any advantage to using Streamlabs OBS over just plain old OBS?

OK so!!!!! I download OBS and I'm having a much WORSE experience LOL

I'm tapping out ....at least I had twitch Studio working on Twitch were other people were seeing stream (even though I had had no idea if and where stream or recording was going) in order to save it ...

OBS tells me I'm "Live Streaming" but on twitch all I see is the "Be right Back" screen even tho is says I'm live on stream...

Looks to me like I did things right? Or ya can't fix Stupid I guess

    SOOO frustrated 😡

    DodgyPutter:

Thanks DP. I did try it a while back but it had more control over what was happening than I liked. So I went with OBS plain.

JD, it appears that you need help setting up your sources. Your source is the window that you are wanting to stream, i.e. the WGT Golf window.

Try watching a YouTube video for setting it up.

Performance Mode in SLOBS uses less CPU than OBS
