why? once i move the arrow to hit where i want to aim the putt, why do i also have to click it on that small, tiny little line after i set my power? i cant tell you how many putts ive missed because of this...i mean, how many real golfers miss putts because they "shanked" their putter? seriously this is beyond stupid

    hi

that's the precision line. when you hit the mark, it has the best chance to roll true to the aim. when you hit early or late it will not fly true to the aim.

How easy do you want it? You'll get the hang of it soon enough.

i know i joined a few days ago, but ive been a gamer my whole life, ive played gofl games back on snes on up to ps3. i just dont get the whole double aim thing for putting. sure you can shank drives and irons, but putts? my first hack single 18 i shot a 69, i was on, sure. now trying to play some unlimted 9s and what not, just so frustrating seeing 10ft putts constantly missed because not hitting it "excellent"

i also play golf in real life, im a typical 80s-90s player, with my best round this year at 77. and i can tell you i havnt shanked ANY putts....EVER in my life, sure my line or speed have been off numerous times, but its not very hard to make contact with a putter so the ball goes where i am aiming...

im not asking for the game to be easy, im just asking for more realistic putting. hell, its a 10ft putt...slow that meter down a bit so its not as fast as my driver ffs...

Give the EZ Swing clubs a shot for a bit to get the feel of how things work, altho not very accurate, it'll give you an idea.

...as in "pulled" and "pushed" putts , straight off the blade from inside 6/7 ft.  ?  Happens every week to the very best in the business.

    you want it more realistic?

you can have my putting stroke if you want something realistic

but don't complain that everything pulls to the left

This game is waaaayyyy too easy to be realistic. 54 for 18 on US Open course setups? Come on.... realistic is that the best golfers in the world miss half their putts from just under 8 feet. a couple months on WGT and you'll be better than the best. BTW, it's not "double aim." the arrow is the aim, the ding is the execution -- just like reading a real putt and then hitting it where you want to
