question about tourny greens

  Ok I know there are two different ones.One 30 faster and one 40% but I've noticed the down hill putts roll 5 to 6 feet past sometimes while uphill ones come up inches short.I always shoot for about 2 foot past hole and on all other speed greens this has worked.Anyone help me with this?

  second  if anyone could tell me the differnce between the daytona putter and the ghost (the old one)Have used the daytona for a long time but remember YankeeJim saying he thought ghost was better but didn't say why.Looking at his stats and reading his posts he seems to know what he's talking about.

  Ps I  putt using a combo of aim miss the ding.

  on short  uphill putts, (10' or less you need to hit for distance plus elevation) ie. 7ft up 2" hit it 9ft of power, after 10' uphill it gradually goes back to about 80% of distance at about 13 or 14 ft.

  what sixkiller says sounds right to me. i have noticed that on putts further away that my math doesnt seem quite right. So 80 percent sounds like what im been guessing on outside of ten feet for good lags, didnt really put the math to the thing, but sounds good. One thing to add, perhaps green speed is something to take into consideration on elevation putts.

  With your down hill putt's decrease your % by 0.2 per every 2 inch down so Legend 70% would become 68% , 66% , 64% and so on.

  Master green speed is 90 %

  Tour Master Green speed is 80%

  But as for all the rest i just shoot the % for flat and give a little extra for the up hills. "sometimes"
