I know I have a habit of coming late to the party. But, is this forum dead?
Do people not see value in free posting .
Some places they charge money .
I hardly see any activity on here..
Why does this forum even exist .
There's been more posts in this subforum alone today than the daily post average .
No longer the same as it was back in the day .
Seemed quite sad to see what's left of this place now ..
There used to be hundreds of different people posting here each week but it seems they've also moved on or stopped playing and now.
It's just a small clique. Maybe social media is to blame or discord perhaps .
I miss the long, analytic quality posting from way back, but there is still some good insight to be found here. Plenty of satire too .
I recall back then the intensity here was really astonishing, almost every thread ended up with a massive everyone vs. everyone fight .
By-and-large a forum with reasonable people who behave like grown-ups. There's not much chest-beating or trolling going on now .
There are now between 10-20 regular posters, and the others only occasionals .
Kind of you to still have endured it and kept posting and contributing in all this while .
It definitely used to be more of a laugh .

I didn't used to really understand the saying that "social media has killed the internet" but I do now .
Not that it's anyone's fault mind you, we've been discussing the same thing for years. No wonder we're talking about the same topics over and over..
I used to post a lot but hardly ever now - more because of other constraints. Has that stopped me from reading discussion on a daily basis? No. Do I think the forum is dead? No..
