I just wanted to personally get on here and thank WGT for "helping me" in my Ready-Go on Cabo just now!

Through 7, I have a score of -4 and rolling along just fine.   But the start of 8, WGT kicked in and screw up that for me!

On number 8, the drive meters.  A big fairway helped me keep the ball in play though and I went on to approach and putt.  On the putt, I meter and miss my birdie.  THANKS WGT!

So I think, "I've got a pretty good score going.  I'm going to reset my modem and clean my cache to get rid of this meter problem."  And that is exactly what I did.  Cleaned my cache.. reset my modem.. log back in.. resume!

Ok, I'm ready!  Let's start number 9 off and go strong!  And the DRIVE:  Meter.  The approach:  jumping like a frog meter!  and the putt (Yes, even the putt!):  Meter.

So I think to myself again, "Let me log completely out of WGT again and load it back up".  And that is exactly what I did.  Logged out.. shut down Google Chrome.. logged back in...resume!  Again!

And the first thing I do:  Meter.  And it continued for the rest of the round.

On the last par 5 (can't remember the hole number), I hit my approach 2 yards from the hole.  "Eagle opportunity!  Life again!  Hope again!  Straight in putt!  I got this!" So I adjust my putt very very slightly because it is SO SO straight in and I click.  I watch the meter fill up and I watch it start scrolling back down.  I'm excited.  Ready to sink the eagle and move up 2 strokes.  And right before I click.... METER.  And no EAGLE for me!

So THANKS WGT!  Appreciate that!  You got my 100 credits which I had hope of having returned to me and then some with a pretty good score.  However, I know now that won't be the case!

I look very much forward to having my credits taken and more meter problems later this evening.

Most meter problems have nothing to do with WGT. Any game based on flash will never be perfect.

Most meter problems maybe but i bet you don't get half as many meter problems when you're playing badly Charlie do ya?

Good rounds and meter problems suddenly occurring seem to be strangely linked some how. I never get meter problems when i'm playing just for fun or practicing but -4 in a ready go and bammmm! There's your chance of winning gone

    At piz,

I understand that but to meter 12-15 times though a series of 10 holes is a bit much.  I rarely meter when I putt but if it happened once earlier, it happened 6 times I know of.  All on short putts.  Beats me but it sucks.

    At Dazz,

I meter when I play badly as well.  Then what I have is:  an excuse.

It hurts more when I meter badly and I'm playing really well and have spent money (although a mere dollar, but MY dollar) to play and participate in it.  It's consistent in ready-go's... for me.  Can't speak for you but it is very consistent for me when I'm in a ready-go.

CB...what have you done to fix the issues?

    Me...

Game Booster is all I have.

Clear flash, and browser cache only after updates.

Have very rarely had an issue

Oh, I use Comodo Dragon browser.

    Best of luck.

    Hey M,

I have done a couple of things since.

First thing I did was clear the cache and the flash.  WGT has a link somewhere that tells you how to do it.

I then cleaned out the whole entire damned computer from all the stupid stuff and it cleared 2.42 GB's.  I'm not very internally computer literate but I know its a lot.  I played a few ALT shot matches earlier and it played fine.. it always does.

Then I went and played another ready-go.  -6 though 8 holes and it starts again... HOLE 9 AGAIN.  Bogey'd a few and birded a few from that point but every hole was  a slow load and had at least one shot where the meter jumped around.  It didn't destroy my round like it did earlier but it still took me out of competing for my credits+ back.  Finished at -4.

I've taken all the advice that I know to take and getting pretty frustrated.  Oh yeah, I disconnected my modem as well for 25 seconds and plugged it back.  It used to help but doesn't do crap now.  Any new news would help for sure!

I don't think it'd be a modem issue, but like you, I'm not real network savvy.

    Have you tried gamebooster?

Also, if you use Comodo, you can use it's firewall to play on and disable your antivirus sw, which could be doing a scan, etc, of something while playing.

Get a new computer, and quit blaming the server for your cheap system. Tired of hearing it is always "WGT" problem, that excuse is getting old....
