    trytobeatmeonce:

    If  this has happened to someone....can anyone tell me how i went from 72.1 avg. to an 80 avg. ???

    Thank you.

    When you move up in tiers, your avg reset. You went from pro to tourpro and shot a 40 first round as  a tp ( hence 80 average)     it will go up and down a lot in your next few rounds then settle down.  Congrats on hitting tourpro

    That doesn't make sense. You worked hard to get your avg score that low. Thats crazy, just because you played one bad round of golf does not warrants a 7.9 points added to your avg score.

    Remember, only the best 12 of your last 15 rounds are counted in your Average (or something like that) so as was already stated it will go up and down a lot in the next few rounds. In a few rounds that bad round won't even be counted anymore.(unless you have more of them :-)) Bear in mind that when you move up to a new tier, the playing conditions change, be it faster greens or new tee boxes. The new average is calculated based on the new playing conditions only, if not, then all the legends would be sitting with sub 60 averages.

    I gives a more accurate reflection as to what your are averaging in your specific and current playing conditions.

    Hope this makes sense,

    GL

    Not any more, avg goes up and down until a certain number of rounds (different for each tier) is reached, then average will only go down as better scores are posted.

    @M,

    I may invest in a new modem and see how that does for a couple of days.  If it doesn't work, I'll take it back and get my $$ back.  I'll post back come early next week and see how it goes.

    OKay, 'Now have Game Booster 3. (used to be another version I liked better)

    I also installed looooooong time ago...Latency Fix...you'll have to search the web for it, it was a free, and easy down load.

    I alsouse Comodo DRagon to play this game.

    Rarely get a stutter, etc...do get some accellerating meters...but try to stop and rehit in time.

    Hey M,

    I have a 2 year old Hewlett-Packard Lap top that I play on and use wireless to play.  Time Warner Cable in Charlotte, NC is my provider.  Every now and again, my web pages wont load and ill go reset my modem real quick and its back to normal..except when I play ready-gos.

    I use Google Chrome as my internet browser and I don't know what version of Adobe I have...God willing the newest because I update every time it asks me to do it.

    Charlie you are using pretty much the same stuff as I play on when I use my laptop.  It is about 2 or 3 years old with a lot of ram.  I use Google Chrome and keep my browser pretty clean.  I would suggest that it might well be your modem.
