Is there a way to know how many yards distance are added when using a higher distance rated ball?
If one ball is rated a 2 distance, another a 5 distance, how much distance is added to any particular club?
Is there a percentage gain that can be figured in?
As a starting point, use the distance rating of the ball as a percent. E.G. figure a 4.5 distance ball will add about 4.5% to your distance.
I say "starting point" because a lot of it will depend on the spin rating of your clubs, the spin rating of the ball, and the amount of spin you choose to put on your shot.
