Double XP Weekend Extended

  Hey Everyone!

  So there was an issue with the Double XP weekend event not starting and I apologize for that. This should be working now and has been extended through Monday.

  Can you re-set all the Clash won CC Passes folks used all day and night yesterday thinking they were boosting their clubs?

  Ditto to this question asked by twinponds.

  If I, and many others in my clash-participating clubs, knew this was going to happen, we would have sat on our passes yesterday.  Everyone who used the cc xp passes they won, should have them restored.

  This is obviously a human error and we should be made whole.

  Thank you. Is anyone aware or is anything being done for the mobile app extra XP award getting errored out? When you choose to watch a video for extra XP, the video plays but then an error dialogue pops up and you get nothing for watching the video.

  As the passes still worked normally, I dont think replacement passes will be given out for ones used. Sorry.

  As much as I'd like to see, where @twinponds and @jacktrade are coming from, I just can't understand why anyone above L102 and from a L20+ CC would care what happens with XP points and CC passes, since they're completely meaningless above those levels.

  It does not affect me personally since I can buy anything I choose to, but ...

  It affects the clubs whose players participated in the clash.  They were not all level 20 clubs.  (It also affects progress towards level 21 for level 20 clubs, although that is not worth anything now.)  Each of their players had extra cc xp passes so, when used, the clubs get the double points as well as the player.  That was all lost.

  WGTShamWow's answer is, in effect, we are not going to deal with it.  So be it.  They didn't have to do the promo in the first place.  Their refusal to deal with it, though, makes them look churlish at best.

  Hopefully, WGT fired the employee(s) who screwed up.  This is obviously not a computer problem.

  Absolutely agree Ana. I should have clarified or been more specific that I meant that towards newer players and younger clubs. Makes total zero diff to me, my club, or anyone else really above level 102 or club level 19.

  Some level 20 clubs that will make level 21 in another 5 to 10 years, can look back and say "remember when WGT screwed up that double xp promo back in 2021? We would have made level 21 yesterday instead of today."
