    HI --

I've just started checking out WGT and I think it has some potential to be fun but I can't join a tournament, I always see the message "Your Country or State of Residence Does Not Qualify You to Play in This Tournament"

Is that a bug with the beta? I'm in NY state in the US..

    Thanks

    Rich

    hi

i think in order to play those, you have to confirm your residence by adding billing information on file via 'account' button.

In addition, there are some US states that do not allow 'skill gaming', which is what the credit tourneys are.

    From the FAQ:

"The U.S. states that do not allow skill-based gaming are: Arizona, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Iowa, Illinois, Louisiana, Maryland, Montana, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, and Vermont

The countries that do not allow skill-based gaming are: Brazil, Argentina, the People's Republic of China, South Korea, Japan, and any other jurisdiction that WGT excludes in its sole discretion."

My guess is that if you add your billing info, as per Icon's suggestion, you'll be able to play any tournament you want.

why italy not can participate in certain tournaments? (multiround monthly?  )

and also why we can not get some awards or participate in sweepstakes?
    why is excluded?
