Gameday Drive devaluing the game

Gameday Drive is devaluing the game. It is set in ridiculously benign conditions with holes ranked as par 5s that are clearly par 4s. I am a mid ranking legends and shot 4 rounds yesterday averaging 7 under for nine holes. Yes it will get my average score down significantly but it is just not right.

Please either make these much more difficult or restrict to single play.

I predict a glut of Legends and Tour Legends coming soon.

Any CC can setup a round from the Red Tees with ideal conditions for their members to play unlimited to knock down their AVG ... and almost all do!!!!

Just look at a lot of players score history and look for the EZ, AVGBuster, Handicap Helper, ect. named rounds.

You shouldn't care about the game itself if you think it's too easy. All you have to do is to compare yourself to players with same rank than you. And someday maybe you will be compared from best of the world.

With all the customs available you can play the most easiest settings(and scoring -24 or lower) or play hard winds with 14 greens on toughest courses on legend tees(good luck for keeping a 60 or lower avg).

But the real compass is the other humans around.

That's the real problem. (For the record, we don't do that in my club.)

At least WGT gives you some free swag if you complete the Gameday Drive tournament.

Neither do we in Advance Australia Fairway CC. In our view the game is about GOLF, not all the other stuff that goes on.

If you don’t like it , don’t play it , simples !! However as you have played it four times at your own admission , you clearly want to play an easy course

I'm sorry to hear you're not into the Gameday Drive. We have dozens of other tournaments that are running all the time.

Check out the tournaments section and you'll find a bunch of tournaments that range in difficulty. I'd recommend checking out tiered Ready Go tournaments and brackets.
