Gameday Drive devaluing the game

  Gameday Drive is devaluing the game. It is set in ridiculously benign conditions with holes ranked as par 5s that are clearly par 4s. I am a mid ranking legends and shot 4 rounds yesterday averaging 7 under for nine holes. Yes it will get my average score down significantly but it is just not right. 

  Yes I play a round in this and of course always a free gift thrown in, and if I was to play say more than a few games then my average will start going down, but I am a long time between Tiers as I don't play a great deal of these types of games from the short tees, but its a game dude, and its a fantasy game to boot, and along comes a promo game and it can be fun to be a 'star' for a game and shoot 24 whatever. 

  Keep on with the weekly games and keep adding to the weekly rotation different types of tourneys, but remember, the more you play em, the lower you score, the quicker you become another 'rush thru time player too.

  Please either make these much more difficult or restrict to single play.

  I predict a glut of Legends and Tour Legends coming soon.

  Ever since WGT allowed Legends (the top tier at the time) to play off baby tees, players - mostly Americans - got intent on having a totally ridiculous and unrealistic average.  It was started mostly by one club, and mostly by one player, and like you say it defintiely devalues the game of golf.

  But something that devalues the game of golf even more than that is negating the penalties of hazards.  Rough, bunkers, fescue, brush etc are meant to penalise players when they are not accurate; allowing players to wear clothing to negate the harshness of the hazards not only devalues the game, but also discredits the real game of golf.

  As a "mostly American with a a totally ridiculous and unrealistic average", I'll take the other side of this discussion. Gameday Drive has been introduced as a relaxing fun way to spend Sunday morning during football season. What's with the med winds? Let's calm the winds down and get back to some easier conditions. #redteesarefun

  P.S. If I struggled to break 30 in easy conditions I might be screaming and crying about the grapes being sour too. ...probably not though

  IMHO it's finally nice not to have heavy winds in every tournament. One question when do you pay out the 1000 coins?

  Game day drive doesn’t allow apparel enhancements !

  I played a round on the Gameday Drive today, and didn't receive my 1000 coins as advertised. Not that I need 1000 coins.
