I lost over 1,100 CDP years ago. I was visiting family on the way to a vacation and their internet was down. When we arrived at our vacation destination the next evening, I got the condo's WiFi information, logged in, and knew it was going to be close. When I finished playing, it was one minute too late and I lost all my CDP.
Still, back in that day, it didn't matter that much because the CDP bonus maxed out at eight days. But about a month later, WGT adjusted the CDP bonuses to be unlimited so I lost a ton of xp the next 5+ years as a result.
After many requests to WGT explaining what happened, they have always refused to reinstate my CDP, even though I had a valid excuse. I know so many people on here who made up a fake story (some of them many times!) and WGT always restored their CDP without question. I guess they figured I already had too much xp or something. Call it the "Nancy Rule", I guess...
The same is true with WGT capping one's level at 200. It only takes around 32.2 million xp to get there. WGT set level 201 at around 2.145 BILLION xp, which is unreachable for anyone. When they did so, people blamed me and called this the "Nancy Rule."
Anyway, I'm back up to 2,200+ CDP (and over 215 million xp). But I should be at over 3,300 CDP as I've never missed a day of trying to play. But I'll be leaving this game soon, when my current inventory of credits and golf balls are gone. As of last month, I have stopped spending a dime on this game. I've achieved all that WGT will allow me to achieve and they have officially lost my business.
