How do I save a replay of a shot? Actually, how do I even watch a replay of a shot I just hit? I used to know how but I'm coming back from a long layoff and don't remember and cant seem to figure it out. Thanks for any help with this.

There is no in-game save feature anymore, you have to use a third party app. Windows has a built in feature you can use, or maybe you might favour OBS. Read more HERE.

If using Windows 10, you can old down the window key and the "G". This will bring up a recorder. You can record the last 30 seconds of whatever is on the screen.  The video is saved in your video folder, your file explorer. There will be a sub file created called captures (where all videos are stored).

To see if you have this function, simply hold down WIN + G and see what happens.

WIN + G is what I use as well.  Use it to record an entire match or just the last 30 seconds.  I believe there's a setting to turn on for the last 30 seconds. Upload to YouTube and share with Friends or other players great shots.

Here's one from a player two nights ago.

    An Eagle from a Clash.

    Another Eagle, and so on.

protonc, I have a couple questions about how you do it:

    • Do you use Win + Alt + R to record your entire match, and then go back afterwards to edit / save clips of the highlights?  Or do you use Win + Alt + G after you've made a great shot?
    • When you upload a clip to YouTube, does it do any compression to shrink down the file size?  I have a HIO saved from Cabo (back in the day), but the file size (.mp4) is almost 100 MB.

    Thanks.

    Hey Sam,

I have mine setup so I press Win + G, brings up Xbox Game Bar shown:

If I would like to record an entire game WIN + G and I select the record button (WIN+Alt+R) before a game starts:

If i'm only playing and see a good shot, I press WIN + G, then select the record the last 30 seconds button shown (WIN+Alt+G):

I prefer to use the buttons rather than the keyboard shortcuts. They appear and disappear when used.

To my knowledge, YouTube does not have the ability to compress before uploading. You can compress with the windows Photos app (yes, that sounds weird) or with VLC. The Photos app is also easy to use to trim the videos.  This is with Win10.  My 30 second videos are 15-16 MBs. The 10 second HIO video above is 3 MBs.  I have a 18 hole one player video that's 1.3 GBs. Those files are not compressed.

Sorry about my crappy photo's, had to use my phone to catch the keyboard shortcuts, etc.

Can't you use the Win-G xbox game console to capture the screen of your Win-G xbox game console or would you need two?

    Or

Simply use the function key + prt sc and paste in a word documents (use landscape layout) and then right mouse click to save as an image.

    Or not.

Screen capture (print screen) doesn’t work for that, lol!
