  The World cup 2022

   

  Hello all

   

  This thread is for sign ups only

   

  First of all happy new year to you all

   

  It’s about that time when we start recruiting teams in for this year, it will start around April so plenty of time to get the teams in/sort out the courses and get the rules set up for the comp.

   

  This year I have a new team to help me,

   

  Dotty will not be around to help me this time, we have had a good run over the years together and I would like to thank him for all the work he has put in and wish him all the best in the future.

   

  My new team consists of

   

  Nicozanberg/Jessicahill21 and Bader76

   

  Nico,Jess and Carl will be helping me recruiting/squads/gathering teams in for each round and posting them.

   

  They will also be around to post results in as we go so between us we keep all the results/tables up to date.

   

  Any problems that do arise which are rare now we will make decisions and sort them between each round so there will be no hold ups.

   

  We are looking 32 teams again with two rounds of strokeplay and the rest matchplay.

   

  Nigel our spreadsheet genius is onboard to make our lives so much easier I love the man lol.

   

  So let’s get this 2022 World Cup started get your names down and fill these spots.

  answer to your question guys

  you will need maximum 13 players in the squad

  8 players will be playing the group stages and 9 for the knockout stages

  all players must take part in the group stages at some point.

  this comp will last around 6 months so please make sure all players are commited to play

  that works if we have 32 teams entered.

  it is open to tiers legend and above only.

  there will be a handicap system used for lower tiers to take on higher tiers only in the group stages,no handicaps in the knockout stages of the comp.

  its just a sign up thread at the moment,take a look at last years comp on the first page on the first post.

  there are links which will give you more of an idea how the comp works ok
