The new R11s Irons are out but they do not match the swing speed  of the R11 Driver if you buy a full set surely they should be all the same swing speed why have 2 swing speeds for the same clubs other full sets don't do this.

    your advert

TaylorMade does it again with the top-performing set of irons on WGT. These irons give you maximum distance and control, and pair perfectly with the R11 Woods available at the same levels.

This is why every one was complaining their old burners were getting less accurate.

O well time to get used to the different club yardages on my new irons.lol

The R11's are EXACTLY the same as the burners when they first came out, WGT has decreased the accuracy on burners to make R11's stand out and us like mugs all rush out and buy a set.

Took the words right out of  my mouth Drake. I was afraid they was

going to do that. I have enough trouble hitting the ding with these old fingers

and my g10's. Oh well guess it's a young man's game. LOL

Question is,,,,,,,who will be the first to give them a go?

I'm tempted,  the meter speed is my biggest stoppage since the TM burners are doing just fine.

    *edit...

Wondering what the yardage increments will be.   3iron rated 5 yds more but PW 5 yds less.

Don't want to rent them for $5 just to turn around and buy them if I like them.  Guess if I decide against the level 92 putter I can justify buying them.   I already have two putters that I like anyhow.

    hi,

The performance of burner's 2.0 was not changed as far as I know. Until you have actual prove, I would rather you not spread the rumors in every thread.

Don,t really know if the burners were tampered with as I have had them for quite a while but just put them into play last week. I did buy the r11,s this am and do like the yardage spread better then the burners and spin seems to work a lot better so far altho I only played 1 best of wgt ctth  but managed to stick the 3iron from 209 into 8mph wind on 18 at st,a,s 1 skip and a stop for 8/9 feet from pin
