torrey pines ball trap

  just started playing a new tournament at torrey pines the 3 hole is a trap playing up to 40 yard long lost two balls first was 16-18 wind 194 to hole 38 down elevation hit 180 on full backspin sailed over the back of the green next then hit a 175 on full backspin just caught the back of green restarted this time 12-14 cross wind 194 38 down elevation hit 181 sailed over the back of green lost ball this is a joke

  Torrey Pines par 3 is notoriously off.

  Try playing it as 68 down and not 38.  Big topic discussing just this issue..

  i usually play it 47 down take 16 yards off no problems wrongly marking this hole is a deliberate act by WGT to rake as many balls from unaware and trusting players one of these days they will learn not to bite the hand that feeds them

  this hole is now playing 90 + feet downhill a nice little money maker for top golf
