New Tournament UI

  Hi everyone, 

  This morning we released Android 1.74 and, over the coming days, are expecting to release on more platforms. 

  So I thought I'd take this opportunity to introduce our new Tournament UI that's in this release. 

  It's made to be simpler with less clutter and less button presses. 

  

  You may notice that the the icons in the top right are clickable. In the above screenshot you'll see I clicked the "1" icon and it says "Single Play". 

   

  Convenient Left and Right Scrolls on Details Panels. Also Overview, Details, and Prize toggles. 

  

  The sections will bring the player to stroke play by default and CTTH in the header selection. No more clicking a section and being asked to go to Stroke, CTTH, or Past Results. 

  

   

  Past results are now in the MY TOURNAMENTS section in the header. 

  

   

  Overall this is a big improvement and it will only get better in future versions. This is the part where I warn you about a couple of known inconveniences. 

   

  1. When the player enters the tournament section by selecting the middle card on the main menu (Currently it's the Live Series card on the main menu), it will bring the player to the tournaments section and bring up the details for Live Series, but exiting details will bring the player back to the main menu. This will be addressed in the next update.
  2. Some players may find tournaments in their "Past results" that they didn't enter. We're looking into it and hoping to have this fixed in the next update as well. 

   

  The next big item to improve this section is a nicer leaderboard. It's weird to only see the top few players on a leaderboard. We're working on it but we're not sure it will make it into the release at the end of February.

  Glad to see this improvement. The number of clicks to get to a tournament was a real pain. Huzzah! Q - Will we be able to see the leaderboard immediately after finishing the round?

  I like the new layout. Makes things easier and quicker to access.

  Not sure about the tournament boxes/icons being green with a green background though. There seems to be too much green going on and may look better (stand out more) if the tournament boxes/icons were in a different colour....just my opinion.

  Am I missing something?

   

  I play in a lot of brackets, buy now I can't figure out how to see the actual bracket.  I still get the "need to play" "entered", and "missed cut" notifications, and I can see the leaderboard, but I can't find the actual "bracket" anywhere.

   

  Either i'm just too stupid to find it or there is a major malfunction in the new format.

  In game I am not able to see the bracket in Bracket Tournaments. That is also where the clock use to be showing how much time was left.

  EDIT: BTW... the rest of it looks real nice, and I love that you can see the conditions of all 4 rounds of the brackets. Nice touch. I see that you can also see future conditions of any multi-round tournaments, very nice.

  Thanks.  I do agree that it looks nice and the upcoming conditions of the tourneys.  Just hope they get the actual bracket back without having to use the work around.

  Color scheme is terrible.

  I entered and have already played round 1 of a bracket. The main tournament page shows "Entered", but when I click on it, I still have a Play Round 1 button?? The leaderboard shows my score. (I'm afraid to click the Play Round 1 button)

  This makes it confusing.
