Ok,,I been on wgt for a month or so,,made the master thing & like the game blah blah blah.

I get's this R11 short stick driver by mistake & now standing looking quizzicle with my stick in my hand wondering what to hell to buy for a new driver now (this r11's nice but,,.like i want everyone outdriving me &,,out scoring me.

What kinda irons would one of you golf vidio gurus recommend?  I just think that the rental fee to try clubs is draconion.

I need the longest,,,most acurate driver ,,9.5 degree this time.

I want some irons that dance the ball and can work the ball well,,with distance of course.

I got these TM satin wedges & they look allright.

I know I'm gonna get a dif aswer from everyone because we are all different,BUt i just don't wanna go and blow 20 bucks on clubs without tryin to hear some input on what i should get for irons & new driver,,the spider putter will do for now.

    thanks folks: jeff

You will hit and stick on more fairways with the R11 driver than with the R9 that has more roll than the R11, thus getting you into the rough more often with just a little bit off on your missed dinged drives.

R11 irons are the nuts, burners 2nd and ping G10s 3rd

Cleveland GC16 wedges spin the cover off balls and can backspin 16 yards if not more.

The satin wedges are great too and the spin is more predictable and controlable.

You pay your money and you make your choice

    R11 driver

    R11 irons

    Cleveland GC16 wedges

    Callaway iz balls

With this set up we will see you on the Legend tees soon.

    IMHO

The best money can buy on here

I see one problem in your plan... The OP is a long ways off unlocking those clubs.

Yes that is a problem Sgt, I thought the OP was a TM. I'll just shut up.

does that mean the R11 will fly farther or change when i make TM? sorry i assume OP  means player?

Yeah i got to master &,,the R11 iron set is a bit pricey. The burner steel set seems like a good set,,idk lol.

The loftier wood, R11 , is probably a better idea overall. but i want a longer driver for certain courses,,,all in good time.

I'm startin to get it,,if i have my heart set on bein 'king of wgt' i 1. Gotta get a brain transplant

    2. Better dig deap in the pockets as time goes by to keep up with jonesy.

    3. basically be like Felix the cat,,have every club in my bag of tricks right?

anyhow,,that Burner iron set looks good enough for now,,matched meters don't really seem to matter to me as i get used to whatever club i blow my money on.

cheers,,thanks for the input so far!

    Jeff

Since I bought the R11 irons last Friday I have had a hole in one, shot a 28 on the first 9 St.Andrews, something I never did with ping G10s or the Burners2.0s, and had 2 eagles with a double bogey in that round. OP means original poster I think.

The higher you go in level means that you will tee off further back and the clubs I mentioned can be unlocked at lower level as well but I'm not sure about the performance at the lower level.

There is a R11 driver that can be unlocked at level 29+, the R11 irons at level 32+ and the Cleveland wedges CG16 at level 29+ for the 60* wedge and level 31+ for the 64* wedge. As I said before I don't know about the performance level at the lower level.

Good luck with the clubs you choose and have fun.

I got to from Master to Legend with G10's. I'd recommend them to anyone who'll listen lol.

Best tip I got at that level was to match all my meter speeds (not including putter). Really helped me post lower scores.

I got the G10 club set after I reached Master and level 60 and love it. i had mismatched meter speeds before that and it didn't bother me, but many people say it's best if they match. the other driver you can get now is the R9, which has a couple extra yards, but less precision and a lower trajectory. (I say don't worry about the driver loft, look at the trajectory).

I almost never use the hybrid in the set, but figure I can always sell it.  i also added the ping 64 wedge, but any one will do. with a ball with 2 distance dots I average probably 280, 285 off the tee. the irons fly super high, makes stopping at tight pins much easier, but they're tougher in big wind.

I spent many of my golf playing time to date playing as master &  tour master. The best master club combination I found was:

Driver : R9 (L62) - more forgiving than the G10 driver and out drives it by 5 yrds.

    Clubs : G10 (L59)

Wedges: 105 yrd Tour Pro Wedge (L60), 85 yrd Tour Pro wedge (L60) & 50 yrd Satin (L39)

    Putter: Daytona Rossa/Spider Ghost

Reason for the wedge selection was that when used with punch shot you get wedges to cover ( 105, 93, 85, 72, 50 & 41)... something along those figures !

    Happy Golfing mate !
