Club removed by WGT

  On behalf of a CC member, does anyone have any idea why yesterday - 25th - his shortest snazziest wedge was removed - and replaced by a starter hybrid?

  He even got a message from WGT that "your clubs have been changed" or suchlike.

  If that happened to me, I'd stop playing.

  Any insights anyone?

  The player tells me that he's locked out of equipment edit - and is not even sure his snazzy wedge is in his options any more.

  But despite all the poltergeists about, it's hopeful to know its not a common problem - and might be down to personal tweaks.

  WGTShamWow:

  Make sure you switched the game to Advanced mode for equipment. In your settings is a new option for "Customize Equipment". Change this setting to ADVANCED. This will change it so the top slots in your bag are optional so you can change your clubs however you would like just like you did before.

  The current WGT function for replacing clubs is a crock.  That said, the club is there.

  Just have to search and click enough, and he will get it back.

  This happened to me last summer. Went days not knowing why it happened or how to fix it. Now it's happened to a friend in my Club. too.

  Thanks for all the suggestions and advice, posters.

  I haven't heard for certain - but it looks like the problem might have been solved, looking at my members bag.

  Certainly hope so!
