How did I achieve, master, when I got to level 61. There are other players out there at higher levels who are still at pro or tour pro. Confusing. Love the game. Still trying to figure out how to putt.

Since you have played only little stroke play (16 ranked rounds), I'm guessing that you play a lot of H2H and coin rooms. Guessing on that you're quite successful?

There are criteria to promote players with such history, but we haven't figured out how it works.

Only one thing is clear: There ain't no way back!

    Have fun!!

I had the same thing happen. Early 60 levels and went to Master and had only played 5 or 6 ranked rounds. In a way it was a compliment but on the other hand I couldn't or wouldn't purchase newer clubs to accommodate the extra drive distance. The cost wasn't worth the few yards extra but I used a recent club special to level up my clubs.

I don’t recall WGT giving equipment at Tier advancements. They do give  2hr Rentals of equipment when you level up. Could this be what you’re referring to?

When I first started playing the game (mobile) I turned on my tablet one morning, fired up the app and was greeted by a screen that said something like “you have earned a credit bonus. Now would be a good time to invest in new clubs. For your consideration here is a set of Cobra irons at a discounted price”. Basically they gave me a bonus (around 100 - 150 credits) and the opportunity to give it back to them by purchasing the offered clubs. Maybe this is what he experienced?

The only differences I see are the credits I received were not associated with any tiering or leveling up bonus and I was at either pro or tour pro level. I always wondered if the gesture was some type of marketing ploy because up to that time I had purchased zero with the credits I had already accumulated. That changed from that point forward.

I had 12 ranked rounds for the first 5 months as I played many many coin games. Tier promotions seemed to come pretty often all the way up to Legend. Around the beginning of this year, I joined a club that put out tourneys and I found it fun to play ranked rounds. Now I have about 90 ranked rounds and I still play many coins games too, but I'm still an impatient Legend waiting for the "Tour" promotion. lol

Can't help but wonder if my playing more ranked rounds somehow slowed my advancement.

Just today I played a coin match with a Tour Legend. What made him/her stand out... their level was 200! This must be somewhat rare as I've never seen anything close to compare. To reach level 200 takes determination and years and years of devoted playing time. I would think WGT would toss out the Champ title at that point. You can't level up from 200.

I did not search their stats, but they played very well while beating me in a single hole match. lol

Concerning tier advancement, you may have to accept some heavy grinding. There are 500(!) ranked rounds necessary on the "average" path, and I suspect something above L100 with coin games etc. (>2,000,000 XPs, approx. tripling your L93 number).

There is only one person I know who has hit the roof of the level system. With 76,000+ ranked rounds, their experience is hard to beat!

Thanks Alosso. Still enjoying the game and if I have to grind it's not so bad. But I'm not ready to grind 76000! lol
