I need some help, please! Let me explain....I play the game on my laptop, but recently had to reinstall Windows 10. All my drivers are updated, including my AMD visual and graphics chipset drivers. But when I installed a fresh version of WGT I can't get it to fit my screen now!!! The screen display size is 1366 x 768 and I've tried just about every configuration I can think of to get the WGT play window to fit, but every configuration seems to have something cut off...either a strip cut off from the bottom or a strip cut off on the side edges.

I've tried changing the laptop screen resolution, then cycling through all of the WGT screen resolutions to see if something will fit....nothing is working. Does anyone have any suggestions that I haven't thought of?

    Thanks in advance,

    Sean (foreverhackin)

    Sean, try a reset.

    Or maybe fullscreen.

At the risk of stating the obvious, as I am no where as competent as Hoperman, have you tried checking the Compatibility via the app properties?

Go to the app on your desktop and right mouse click and go to Properties and the Compatibility tab. I had problems when I first installed windows 11 and had to reload windows 10. WGT was not working properly. Running the Compatibility Troubleshooter and making the needed changes helped.

Unless of course, that has nothing to do with resolution then, if that is the case, I will check back to see that Hoperman has replied that I am wrong, at which point I will delete this post...LOL

Thanks Scott, I'll give the reset a try and reply again. Fingers crossed!

Thanks HamdenPro, I'll try this one, too, if Scott's suggestion doesn't work.

All suggestions are helpful at this point, until I find a fix!!!

Ok, update....Scott: the reset tip worked to a certain extent. I now have a full play window, but it's a lot smaller than my desktop screen....probably playable if I squint real hard. I've set the game for 1360 x 768 but it's nowhere near that size.

HamdenPro: Interesting suggestion, I tried it but didn't seem to change anything. Thanks for the suggestion, though.

Do you have fullscreen on in the game settings?

Try turning it off and if you like playing fullscreen, have a go with the fullscreen option I posted previously.

    Hello there....tips.

    1. Leave your native resolution as it is (1366 x 768).

    2. Go to Radeon software. Check that overscan is set to 0.

    3. Go to the game's settings. Set for fullscreen, apply changes. Stay in fullscreen mode for a couple of minutes. Go back to the settings again and set it at 1366 x 768 (windowed).

If nothing of the above should work, i will give you further options.

Scott: no to full screen, I prefer not to play with fullscreen. It worked just fine before I had to reinstall Windows 10.

Yiannis: native res is set to 1366 x 768. Checked my Radeon software (how did you know? LOL) and I don't see any reference to Overscan settings. I do see a GPU Scaling option that is either enabled or disabled...currently enabled. I'll try disabling it and follow step 3.
