Well still being a newbie reletively speaking!! I have found that the best way to learn is never give up, yesterday I couldn't hit a barn with a shotgun at 5 feet, the puts were all over the place lost 3 balls in 1 round, thanks wgt!! Today I couldn't go wrong 18 holes at St andrews, at the 17th was 6 under par one bad shot that cost me 2. and finished 4 under par, also had 3 24 ft chip in',s may not sound a lot to some, but to me it was manner frrom heaven. Gooch gave me some tips on putting over the weeks and to day it all clicked into place. it is a lot to take in regards- distance -club selecion - strength of shot- wind speed - slopes of greens etc, but if you persever it eventualy comes together it is a greaat feeling of satisfaction, I know we all have a moan at times and run WGT into the ground but where else can you find a game for free and get this much enjoyment with your clothes on !!!!
