Hoping someone might be able to verify something that WGT have not come back to me on.

I finished 1st in a bracket (just) and 1st prize was 1440 credits. See screenshot below.

However WGT only paid me 854 credits which is lower than if I came 2nd. Anyone have any idea please?

It looks like you guys had the same score in the final round.

In case of a tied score WGT have ways to decide the best round....see FAQ

Previous rounds don't count, only the round you are currently playing.

@NIKETM1: Unfortunately, you lost the final after a scorecard/computer playoff.

These are the pay-out rules:

In brackets that have credit prizes, the award structure is:

1st Place: receives 50% of the total prize purse
2nd Place: receives 30% of the total prize purse
3rd & 4th Place: each receives 10% of the total prize purse

---------------------------------------------------

But, before splitting the purse, WGT, as usual, takes her rake from the money.
I'm guessing, 10 or 20 %.

Thus, the pay-out may be from 2,304 credits (-20 %) and second place would receive 691.2 credits.

Don't know how to argue about the 854 that you name. That would call for "almost no" rake.

NIKETM1 would have received 864 cr for 2nd place and wgt take 10% off the total entry fee of the 16 players

My calculator has it differently.

Entries are 3,200c wgt take 10% so 2,880c pay-out.

30% of 2,880 = 864
