    Hi all

Thanks for reading my post I appreciate you very much

I was just playing and twice on one night, I find players who are less level then their clubs and was wondering how this is possible?

I can players lose experience points and de-level somehow?

Ii have screenshots if needed, one player said level 89 and has level 90 clubs, another was level 91 and has level 92 and 93 clubs

    Is this possible?

It happens when they buy bundles , for some reason WGT allows them to buy clubs at a higher level than they are . Guess it’s all about profit and real dosh !

Not sure any of the club sets actually give clubs higher than your level but something else it could be;  I remember them dropping the levels on some clubs in the past to allow players to get them at lower levels.  Then I believe the clubs went back to their normal levels when the offer ended.  Could be that players that took advantage of the offer, their equipment may have just updated to the level needed for it afterwards.

Or... it could be someone playing 'set of the week' clubs.  Not sure if it shows as their clubs on their profile page when they're loaded and playing.  If so, it should update after the round is over.

sometimes when a person levels they are given an opportunity to buy clubs that are higher level.

The Nike's were lowered by 5 levels way back when they got rid of them. We had a month to buy them. I remember i power leveled in order to get the next set.

also there was a bug some years ago where you could buy the NIke's at the reduced level even after they discontinued them. They have since fixed that bug. Theoretically someone who barely plays could still have that set and not have leveled much since then. Probably only a few people tho.

Most of what you see between club and level disparity is the offers when you level up.

A couple of years ago I wrote to WGT and what I have stated is what they told me . Things may have changed , but I don’t see why .

The last time I remember them dropping clubs levels is when they were eliminating the Nike clubs (late 2016/early 2017). They dropped the clubs 5 levels. But after the Nike clubs were eliminated, the clubs still displayed at the lower levels for those who purchased them. For example, the Level 100 driver I purchased when it dropped always displayed as Level 95.

For a short time after they were eliminated, however, there was a glitch allowing players to purchase the clubs by viewing clubs in players' profiles in the mobile app. In viewing the clubs, there's a purchase option. If I recall correctly, the player did not have to be at that level to purchase them.

But that was over 5 years ago when they lowered them and the glitch was closed a long time ago. Anyone who took advantage of the glitch or purchased the clubs at the lower levels would be well above those levels by now (unless they had just stopped playing).
