any tips for the ghost putter gents, its driving me nuts and costing me birds.

it seems you gotta hit it less and give it more break, but im missing easy ones that are dog feed for my rossa

im not doing anything different and use avatar movements but they are just not dropping, every round is like a battle with the ghost and i think hes going to little daddy heaven if i cant come up with something....if i could get hold of it,it would be like a boomarang now.lol

any help would be appreciated .....thx steve.

Stevie I binned the Level 92 Ghost and replaced it with the level 35 Ghost. I did so after speaking with Covenant who had done the very same. I am delighted I did as I'm dinging more putts and putting better than I had been. The reason.....a slower meter on the level 35.

thx for the advice chris, but the meter speed shouldnt be a problem as i use the rossa which has the same meter speed.i know it sounds funny but the ghost dosent feel comfortable in my hand.lmao.but i will take a look at the L35.thx again m8.

Stevie I may be wrong but the meter speed on the level 92 Ghost is slightly faster than the Rossa. The level 35 is the same speed as the Rossa. The graphic may depict the same speed but the graphics relating to meter speed are very often incorrect.

Are you aiming by missing or trying to ding the putt? I never had the Rossa but the Redwood was similar and you could do that. The 92 Ghost doesn't putt well this way. It seems if you miss the ding you miss the putt by that much.

Ghost = Hit Ding!, Putt goes in, miss either side, putt goes wide!

(unless there's steep break and you miss opposite to break)

That's what I am afraid of,   I have been using the miss-the-ding method for most of my time here.

However, I have noticed lately, that I had the right read only to miss a little against the break for good measure but just end up missing by that little bit.

Think it's time for this legend to stop hoping I missed the ding correctly ;-)

Just about 4 consecutive days played away from the level 92 ghost.  Will keep the level 66 on standbye lol.

If its any help, Gsoup and I have been working on an advanced formula for putting and have discovered that in addition to using the kitchen work tops as our lab, if we use the hexadecimal system, precision is guaranteed and furthermore, you no longer need to heed the break in any way.

    Thus far, our best solution is to adopt the following formula which in this example, is based on a ten foot putt;

      (2 × 163) + (10 × 162) + (15 × 161) + (3 × 160)

We are still working on adapting the meter but have temporarily run out of pussers gaffa tape.

This works with all putters, and in negative gravity too.

thx guys and gals for the replies.

jim........i always play 2 ding but maybe missing more often than not till i get used to it.

lizzie......tried your method but think theres a discrepancy with your formula.been workin on it all night cos i think your on to something here.

think the second bit is slightly wrong but cant quite work it out. think i`ll leave it with the yancy man to mull it over.

    thx again steve.
