If it's REALLY a huge issue then send an email to WGT customer service and see if they will give you a free 2 HOUR rental of the putter that replaced that one in the proshop. Not really sure if you need it though when you are already playing the 400,000 credit Max CC "Golden" Putter!! 😖

for a change and I actually like the look of that putter, had i have a
chance to play with it and if it suits me well, i could have bought it
but oh well i wasn't abled to try it.
This is kind of a mute point any way as the item does not exist any more and cannot actually be purchased. This issue of the level up rentals containing outdated equipment is an ongoing issue that WGT should address, but on t he grand scheme of things needing the attention of WGT devs, this would be way down on that list.
Now for those who actually need to upgrade their putter, a missed opportunity to test out a possible upgrade (along with the 10% discount after the rental) would be an issue. I have personally had this happen and simply contacted WGT. I intended to buy the item regardless so I did not bother to request the renal time but rather just the 10% discount which WGT reimbursed my account after purchasing the item.
