  Agreed.  I checked the settings to see if this feature can be turned off, but it appears there is no way to opt out.

  Well...I could care less about the G&A so to me it's very distracting and I'd love to opt out vs. being annoyed.  I'm here to chillax and play some virtual golf.  I guess if I were here for rewards from hitting G&A then I be thrilled that they're telling me I hit another G&A...but I'm not.  If I want to play a pinball machine type game with all the flashes I'll go to a f-ing arcade.  Have you ever played the Golden Tee arcade machines in a bar?  Those arcade machines are great as it's about golf, not about rewards.  You play head-to-head vs. someone and it's competitive and fun...no bells and whistles...simulated golf.  I'm annoyed by the popup and evidently so is "8802"...I'm sure others are annoyed too.  Just give us an on/off switch..wtf.  It's so rinky dink...juvenile.  And again, look at all the other issues that have arisen due to this spectacular add-on....sheesh.  Just fix the BS that's f'd up and stop adding pure BS "enhancements".

  I think WGT's main goal with the G&A is to get players to buy plus or, preferably, premier membership as after the initial giveaway that will be the only way to get the better rewards.  I suppose newer players may need to buy ball effects and some other stuff if they want the rewards.

  With the start of the new day my daily/weekly goals aren’t displayed on iPhone. Just a timer counting down showing how much time I’m losing not being able to work on them.

  To me the entire goals & achievements thing has turned what was once a great RL golf simulation game into a childish golf app.  There's no doubt TopGolf is aiming at an entirely different target audience from the one WGT was targeting when they created the game.  Anymore I feel like I'm logging into CandyCrush or one of the other apps that have these goals with very little gain involved...like fun for the feebleminded.  To me it's very sad to see the direction the game has/is headed.  But they're trying to appeal to the masses vs. just us people who love the game of golf.  At least the other "childish" games seem to keep their goals and achievements hidden away.  Why TopGolf is throwing them right in our face is beyond me.  

  Plus, look at all the wasted dev time that now goes towards addressing new glitches all this childish mumbo jumbo has created.  If they merely focused on addressing the issues that we all know are in the game, instead of on these dumbass add-ons, we'd have reason to celebrate and feel elated.

  + 1 zillion kabillion

  This would have worked out a lot better if we, the players, produced a list of Goals & Achievements and WGT had the task of fulfilling and obtaining them.

  Weekly goals today say I need 5 stars, but I have no clue how stars are earned.  There is no list like there was last week, showing things like “play 3 coin rooms,” play Pebble F9, etc.

  Same as above.  I completed all my goals last night and today it says I need 5 stars for next reward but there are no new goals shown, just a blank page, so no way to earn stars.  The Achievements are not giving stars either. 

  Achievements are not calculating right.  I did not hit 'Collect All' but I am not being credited correctly.  Examples: I get my rewards as I complete and click each achievement individually, but when I play tournaments, it is not registering correctly on the achievement counters. HOI count is increasing even though I didn't get any.  Join a Country Club is an available achievement even though I already joined a club and am currently a member (not going to switch and switch back for the measly award on this one). I don't really care, but please consider this as constructive feedback for things that should be fixed.

  I agree with above posters that this G&A add-on is juvenile but I don't mind the quick popup and it does give extra gifts, although they are mostly useless.  Suggest the prizes be more in gold credits, and more coins better correlated to the effort required, and less in XP.  Maybe consider some rewards in stars, too.

  Now, if you really want to make good use of your fixing time, how about, instead of G&A improvements, making the putting a bit more reasonable??  esp for those of us who don't use spreadsheets and just want to relax with the beautiful graphics, well simulated golf game, and enjoy the game of golf.  It is too hard and extremely frustrating.  Also, the speed changes every round and that should be posted right at the start, not just when you get to the green (or even better, don't change it). Also would like to see a way to stop the ball from running without having to upgrade balls and clubs. I've figured out the driving, approach, sand, etc. but not the putting no matter how I try.  Esp close in putts.  Not fun to me that you need a spreadsheet to play the game well... but I keep trying! 

  Also, suggestion to consider adding an option for the user to select difficulty despite their ranking (it appears rank goes up just with time played), because some of us don't strive to be the world champion and don't really improve with time, and it would be more fun to play an easy course at times (even if it didn't count toward advancement). thanks.

  Sometimes, they're just amusing (almost to the point of absurdity) because they pop up before the you actually see what happens.

  I was playing a 1-hole coin game yesterday when this popped up before the ball had hit the ground:

  The odd part was that it was a tee shot from Chambers Bay #15 ... 232 yards directly into a 26-28mph wind.  I aced the hole.

  As you know, Paul, I'm a modest person ... but that is DEFINITELY my best and longest chip shot ever ... lol.

  It took them a few hours to get the goals posted. I think they might have started at 1 AM my time, which is when the new tourneys usually post. 

  Another possible glitch... One of my daily goals reads, "Play 3 coin room games with an active sponsor". I only got credit for games that I won. Games lost while using a sponsor didn't help.

  On another note, I love these new Goals & Achievements. Thank you for the update. I know some think it is too much like a game... 🙄 Oh, right. It is a game.

  LOL…yes, the result is known as soon as you hit the ball.  We’ve all known this via the forums and now STopGolf confirms it with this nonsense.  That’s one helluva chip-in!  

  Again, they deliver this half ass chit in a half ass way and ignore the known issues with the game.  The priorities of the company are so askew it’s laughable.  The fact that they get excited about these deliverables is even more laughable.  I just don’t know what is going through their minds.  They truly think we’re a bunch of ids…or kids.  We all suspected they think RL golf is Putt Putt and they keep confirming that with each and every release.  And then we have big name players who keep their mouths shut because they’re a bunch of (I’ll say it nicely) sissies.  These big name online golfer RL golf wannabes.  They’re worthless.  Instead of helping the game they’re making it more of a joke…all to feed their gaming egos…butt kisser gamers.  They truly make me laugh. 😂
