Hey all, I had a few questions based on my clubs.

    1. I've been looking at a hybrid in the past past few weeks, but haven't decided whether I should get one or not. What do you guys think, and if you think I need one, which one should I get?

    2.  Is there anything that I specifically need in my bag that would help me a lot in the future?

    Any advice would be appreciated,

    BFGHD

    1. Get no hybrid. Get a 3rd wedge instead.

    2. The R11 irons when you reach L90.

I have gone with 3 wedges almost from the beginning. Last hybrid I had was the starter.

Check o ut the top ten players equipment in your tier that will give you some indication as to what you need if you want to progress

I have an R11 hybrid but never get a chance to use it. It's a great club and hits a long way out of pretty thick rough, but to equip it means dropping a wedge, which I will probably need about 4 times a round. Until they make splitting the iron sets a reality, then my hybrid will have to remain unused.

Mine too especially since the R11 hybrid and the R11 3 iron are both rated at 225. If they upped the distance of the R11 hybrid to say 230 then you could drop the 3 wood add the hybrid and still have 3 wedges.

You are playing the G10s, which is cool, but the R11 driver and R11 3W are superior across the board. I agree with the comments about the R11 hybrid. A superb go-to club but you don't know if you're ever going to have to go to it during a given round. If it could be swapped out with the 3 iron that would be perfect.

Whether to upgrade your irons depends on how you feel about the meter speed, but as suggested the stats for the R11 irons you are about to qualify for makes them a superior choice to the Burners which you apparently skipped at level 79. (I'm playing the Burners, with some struggles.)

The capabilities of the high-level Cleveland wedges have been praised to the skies, but the Satins still have their fans (I've never been one of them, for some reason).

I have all 4 of the Cleveland wedges and mix 'n' match them depending on the course to be played, sometimes using all 4 and dropping both the 3W and the hybrid. For example, in the Bethpage front 9 unlimited this week, where Legends are playing from the blue tees, the expected number of strokes with the 3W is exactly zero, so out it goes.

    Ty for the replies all.

Looks like I'll be getting myself some R11's. :)

Does it just make sense for me to get the L90 R11 set when I get there(next level)

Although I'm a Burner 2.0 man, I strongly advise you do. That along with the driver along with your current clubs will see you through to Legend. That along with the $9 3wood if you have some extra cash.
