  Guys, what's all the complaining and negative feelings.  It is only a GAME.  Have fun and don't let it get to you.  There are too many things in real life to worry about and sitting in front of a computer playing a golf game isn't on of them

  Icon may be a WGT employee but before that he was and still is Iconian. One of the best players on this site. If you will check out the FAQs you will see the chip and pitch guide that has helped so many of us and it was written by Iconian/WGTicon long before he was hired by WGT. He is here to help us.

  Nice post willy , and I would like to further your good point , in that the conditional changes you have mentioned can and often do change as rapidly as from the morning group to the afternoon group. This is dealt with week to week.  Every week.

  To the X-programmer :  WGT is a business. So is Mercedes-Benz. You can ease around in the car that was freely handed down to you, but if your looking for performance...I would imagine that you'd have to go out and purchase it.....No ?   What's the problem ?

  This game is completely manipulated ,ALL variables clubs, balls, green speeds, wind, everything  to purposely frustrate and piss-off players until they do purchase credits and better equipment. This is a scam to steal from you. i will never spend real monety here!!!!!!

  Nobody is asking you to. Thousands of people are happy with this game just as it is, strange that it's just the players that can't hack it that moan.

  hmm....when i first saw the title of the thread i thought....woo hoo....someone's been caught cheating or some new proof of cheating has emerged.

  alas....there is no wind in these sails as of yet.

  Bogey seems to be on a hardcore rant these days so i suppose that's a bonus.

  apart from that, this is just another fruitless cheating thread.

  wgt does not force anyone to spend money.....we all have a choice.

  you either take the blue pill or the red one.

  This is all very true.  except the last part.  In real life golf, the environment is constantly fluctuating.  Wind changes direction on a whim, greens are faster one day and slower the next...the put that broke perfectly yesterday, breaks a little less today.  I dont know if the game funtions like this where things change from one day to the next, but the fact that the game is not "perfect" and super easy to figure out is what makes it interesting.  More reward when you do have that amazing round.  Think about that.  I doubt that they do it to just piss people off.  That would be a pretty silly business plan.

  As far as this game dieing...Not likely mate.  WGT continually betters their product, by coming out with amazing new courses and upgrading equipment and balls because people spend money on it.  That is the point.  Nothing comes for free, so why is it so bad that you have to spend money to get better performing clubs?  I am confused.  Perhaps you need to do some thinking about the value of things...

  This game is designed to make money... If you want too be good and run with the top dogs, and compete with them, you have to spend money.  Nobody plays golf to bogey the hole or to par for that matter, but  for birdies, eagles, and HIO's.  We are WGTs junkies, or crack heads so to speak... Paying over $3.00 a hit, getting high on callaway balls.  Uh-oh gotta go now, need to meet my dealer in the pro shop... Up up and awaaaaaaay.

  Summing it up...It is a pass time for most, a hobby. You either enjoy it and have fun, OR - you walk away. To come in here and BASH WGT in some off the wall RANT makes NO sense. The FACT of the matter is - WGT  works hard on improving this game on a daily basis. There are many, MANY of us hardcore members that enjoy our pass time here. We ENJOY the game. We have fun. 

  I never understand how players (that rarely play the game!) come into these public forums and BASH the hell out of a game that is absolutely FREE to play. I can't connect the dots on this one. ITS FREE. If you have issues with the game then walk away. And YES it is FREE until YOU make the choice to spend the money. Once YOU MAKE that choice there is NOTHING more you can say BAD about the game. YOU made the choice to spend money..NOT WGT. Of course you can voice your opinions / suggestions on clubs, courses, wind speeds, green speeds, etc..etc.. BUT to come in here and start slingin hash at WGT for "manipulating the game", is DEAD wrong. Take that trash talk - disturbing garbage somewhere else. edge

  Some people just live to complain about something. If they are not moaning, crying, and bee-otching about something they just aren't happy.

  I feel sorry for you sad little people who fit this description...
