Any shot calculation help would be appreciated. I am wondering how my 9iron rated at 130 yards went 112 yards uphill 36 feet directly into a 17-19 mph wind. I try to take one extra club for every 25 feet of elevation and use 1/2 the wind speed against my distance in general. IF i was playing for REAL, i don't think a 130 club would get 100 yards in this scenario. This is one of the reasons i think WGT = we guess too. Thanks.
W/O knowing your clubs and balls- It looks to me like you would have needed to hit 150+ to make that distance into a headwind w/36ft of elevation. With Backspin that # would go up...
that sounds about right.
elevation divide by 3 =12 yards
9I wind factor (approximately) .6 = 10.8
so depending on clubs and balls 112 would be generous.
