Play unranked practice rounds, and take advantage of the ability to use mulligans. You can experiment with how far you hit each of your clubs, and what the difference is in distance depending on how much spin you put on the ball. (Take notes while you're doing this.) You can also intentionally hit the shot into a bunker, then hit a number of bunker shots with different wedges with different spins to see how far the ball goes. You can set up your practice rounds with various wind conditions to see how your shots react, and what adjustments you may have to make relative to those conditions. Also, go to the practice green. Putting is, as I'm sure you're aware, a major part of the game.
