IMO, change the irons. Everything else will do you just fine but the lower loft of those TMs makes it a much harder task. There are 3 sets you can look at-the G10s, Burners and the R11s. There are a lot of Legends using all of these but not too many using the lower lofted ones like yours. You can make Legend with your irons  but once you get there you'll have trouble scoring well.

    You have a choice.

    1. Stick it out with no extra cost with your irons, toughest way to make Legend.
    2. Buy the $12 G10 irons, still pretty tough to make Legend.
    3. Buy the $25 Burner 2.0 irons, far easier to make Legend IMO.
    4. Buy the $30 R11 irons, but you'll have to stick it out to L90. A long time to reach L90 which you could spend getting used to the Burner 2.0's. Slightly easier to make Legend but you need to reach L90 first.
Out of those, I chose 3 and I would choose the same again anytime

    HI

Listen to this gentlemen - it always helped me (or got me completly confused because I had no idea what they were talking about - and i still have not figured out the aiming method YJ uses - but this is a different story)

I used the irons that you have in your bad once and it was really tough to play with them. As far as I remember I even went back to the raptors. High trajectory irons is a must once you hit legend. It is worth the money.

Thanks for the suggestions, always knew I'd need to go for the high lofted clubs, was just a case of when, as I am able  to score pretty well with the irons I have. Was always put off by the faster meter, but with the release of the R11 (they are nearly 133K xp away), it would appear that a matching speed set of irons is not yet due for release (if ever)).

I took the route through 1 and 2 but also made a stop at 1a for a set of $20 i15.  Pretty fast meter but great irons, never seem to get recommended very much though.

I even bought them again when my Burners started playing badly as I had, rather foolishly, sold them after buying the Burners.  DOH!!

    Hi,

I have just made it to legend ( 13 months of blood sweat and many many tears, lol )

I got there using the G10 irons and driver, Zsatin wedges, a rapture V2 3 wood and the Rossa putter.

Not going to tell you it was easy ! but it can be done, good luck to you, keep posting the scores and you WILL get there,

    Helen.

I paced myself to legend. I was never a sandbagger, but I wans't in a hurry. My advice is practice from the legend tees and decide yourself. I just turned legend a week ago and my first score was a 58 (didnt expect it). I made sure I was at lest close to clubs for the next tier before making a run at it. I made sure i could get to lvl 62 for the driver when I made master because of the tee change. I was rather careless as a tour master as my avg was below 61 from the start so it only took a couple weeks to get to legend. I did make sure that I had burner 2.0s before tour master so that I could stop on tourney greens and so that I could have what everyone else had (I was early again). I only spent 5 levels at tour master so I dug myself a hole for legend. I still have a while before the r11.....

as for clubs, I still have my G10s for bad days with the meter but my main set is the burners. the r9 lvl 62 is still playable from the black tees. Get urself a ping i15 3 wd, ping lvl 60 wedges or clevelands but with the lvl 42 64degree by ping, the daytona putter and u are set!
