As noted before, I'm fairly new to golf in all it's forms so I'm not quite sure how this works. In Baseball if you want to shot shape you hit either low, high, left or right on the ball. I assume that when the golf ball is on the tee that is also the case. That if you hit low left, the ball is going to go High Right, and vice-versa. With my clubs (Taylor Made R11) you cannot move the curser left or right, only up or down which means no, what I would call, "Point Of Contact" shot shaping. Do better clubs have that ability to hit the ball left or right or is it all controled by hitting early or late. Again thanks in advance. Owl.

There is no shot shaping as such on here, at least not yet.

Hey there Nightowl, you can only move the spot on the ball up or down.

In order to account for the wind, some people move the cursor on the course to compensate and some people miss the ding either side to compensate

you can hit a fade or a draw, sort of .... for a draw, you can put you aiming arrow way out to the right, and then miss the ding way left. fade would be the opposite. sometimes it works, but by missing the ding you lose distance and accuracy... it can be done, but the game is not really designed to work that way.

It's not yet possible in WGT but there are a few things you can do to shape the ball a little.  By using the wind this will put a curve on the ball depending on how hard it is.  Also, by missing the ding you can put a slight draw or fade on the ball.

Hopefully WGT can create a way to work the ball around obstacles.  A suggestion would to be able to move the green dot on the ball to the left and right sides of the ball to put a hook or slice on it.

HAHAHA    "Realistic Golf" huh?   Come on developers, get off your asses and make this what you claim it to be. Just because you got great graphics and this deviation pain in the ass, does not make it realistic. Sorry but its just not. I listed once before all the negatives of this so called "realistic" golf game, but was shot down by all the brain washed WGT'ers.
