Reading the FAQ, I need more info about forfeiting.

I see one glaring, gross omission. Do I lose the hole if I forfeit during the middle of the hole?

    hmm....

So If my opponent and I have had skins carry over to the 9th, and all the money is on the line - he hits to within 3 feet and I end up in a bunker. SO I just forfeit the match right then and there - and I'm none the poorer (except for the WGT fee) as unwon credits are returned.

    *edit*

this is only relevant in 2 player games - so I would suggest not playing 2 player skins against players that you do  not know/trust right now. Anyone who would do this is a complete foreskin.

    anyways....

When you forfeit, you need to also lose that particular hole - otherwise it is ripe for abuse. It might already be set up like this - but it's not in the FAQ.  So I'm just wondering.

I'm not going to test this myself. (don't have cr for it right now)  Who can confirm?

As I understand it, with 2 people, if you forfeit on the last hole (in your scenario), you will lose the hole/skins associated with it?

    Here's the scenario:

    All even through 8

Come to 9 and player A has some trouble and is laying 3 on the green 22 feet away

Player B sticks approach shot 2 feet from hole laying 2.

Player A, who cannot win, disconnects

Will player B get the 9 skins and associated credits?

Or did player A find a way to keep from losing the skins/credits?

Doesn't the game act like AS with restarts? I'd be more concerned about him forfeiting before the end. Another post indicated this wound up as a tie with the credits being refunded equally.

In this scenario, WGT gets the Forfeiting player's credits, while the 2nd player who should've won all 9 Skins gets his money back, minus the WGT fee for the game. Well done WGT, well played, GG.

actually, from what I am reading in the FAQ, it looks like BOTH players get the credits back. either way this is a huge oversight.

We need someone to set it up, and see exactly what happens, so that we know for certain.

I've some time, set one up for lowest credits, we'll halve'em all till the end.

Once on the ninth, I'll disconnect or forfeit, let's see what happens.

OK, Well I was wrong - thank goodness!

Mbaggese and I played 3 holes - he forfeited on 3. I end up winning all 9 skins.

WGT got it right! The FAQ was just simply unclear. An addendum might be warranted.

Thanks MB for confirming that i was, again, WRONG!

    lol

nothing to see here move along....
