  Round 6:  Group 4 Match 4 Tie# 1083

  EKeefer (Black Diamond) vs Doldenbird37 (Robs Rebels)

  It certainly was an interesting match. Alex, Doldenbird, got off to a quick lead winning the 1st two holes. EK got one back on 3 but alex was able to extend his lead to 3up through 7 holes. EK got another one back on 8 to make the turn down 2.

  Just as the golf gods were smiling on Alex mostly for the front nine, they switched their allegiance and EK got the benefits for the 2nd nine. Getting to 1 down on the 10th, we ended up halving all the rest of the holes through the 17th. On 18 Alex's approach went long and EK put it 5' under the cup. Alex made a valiant effort that just missed and EK was able to square up the match.

  Final result: AS thru 18.

  Thank you Alex for an enjoyable and challenging match!

  A fun match with a good guy. A couple of Travis's putts could have easily gone in and it may have been a different outcome. Always fun to meet good people who enjoy play this game.
