Always a pleasure DB & good fun too, I think I'm closing the gap a little bit each time.

Sorry for all the connection issues. I've still got no idea why it only happens on WGT (well I have some ideas !!!) & nothing else & internet is running on full speed. Good Luck to you & the rest of Grand Traditions cc for the rest of the WC.

Ranger, it is not a glitch.

Note I said cannot receive or send messages on new threads. Existing threads work.

I spent an hour on this with WGTChampion and his techies. At the end I was told you cannot send or receive on messages on new threads once one exceeds 255 members (256+), and we cannot fix it. Initial system limitation when WGT started.

So back to my point, if my teammate cannot communicate with his opponent because the opponent has too many friends, what is the solution to the match?

PS: Don't believe me. Add a new friend and try send him a message.

Also none of this has anything to do with with inviting friends to AS or match play games. That works if one has 1000 friends.

PPS: In first round of this year's Finneys World Cup, I got nudge from other captain I wasn't responding. I checked. I had 259 friends. I kicked 5, and my opponent and I were able to get in touch right away.

Apparently, not everyone is aware that WGT bans sending or receiving messages on new threads if one has 256 or more friends.

So I have a teammate and his opponent complaining they are not responding to each other. But the opponent has 297 friends so he cannot send or receive friends messages.

What is the solution?

The solution is to post on their wall. The amount of friends has zero affect on that feature...

As for being unable to create or received new messages, when one has over 255 friends, it's never been an exact science. Some are able and some aren't...
